Events

Our school-wide Move-A-Thon is a fun event focused on movement, health, and community spirit. Students will take part in activities including walking the Galloping Goose Regional Trail, karate with Canada’s Best Karate or cheerleading with Island Elite Cheerleading, along with a fun-filled activity station featuring engaging movement-based activities.

Donations can be made online through the Happy Valley Hot Lunch site: https://happyvalley.hotlunches.net. Cash and cheque donations will also be collected at the school through students’ classrooms. Funds raised help support programs and opportunities for all students, including classroom resources, field trips, presenters, performances, and Grade 5 celebrations. Top primary and intermediate classes will receive a pizza lunch before the end of June. If the entire school raises over $8,000, all students will earn an extra recess before the end of June. If the school raises over $10,000, get ready for a bonus celebration! Ms. Laidlaw and Ms. Dailey have bravely agreed to suit up in giant inflatable donkey and chicken costumes for a hilarious dance performance the whole school will enjoy. This is one the students won’t want to miss!
